FAQ Page

  • Does CardioVillage offer free CEs?

CardioVillage no longer offers free CEs. Information on our variety of subscription and purchase options can be found in the Course Catalog.

  • Who should I contact for technical support?

Contact the Service Center via email (support@scitent.com)

  • What is the refund policy of this site?

All sales are final once any learning content has been accessed. Refunded monies for learning content not yet accessed will be returned minus the payment portal processing fee.

  • What are the browser requirements?

The site and courses are compatible with web browsers that have been updated within the past three years. Internet Explorer is no longer being updated or supported, so CardioVillage content will not work in the Internet Explorer browser. The site and courses are also available on mobile devices. Some hospital security settings and firewalls may prevent your coursework from checking off as complete; you may wish to complete your course content from a home network or have your hospital IT department whitelist this website.

  • Lost your password?

Click the “Log In/Register” link in the top navigation, then click “Lost Your Password?” Enter your email address or username on the following page, check the “I’m not a robot” box, then click “Reset Password.” You will be sent an email with a link that will allow you to reset your password. If you have technical difficulties, contact the Service Center.

  • How do I claim my certificate?

Course certificates become available to claim after completing your course. To claim certificates on CardioVillage, log in to your account, then click “My Courses.” Click “View In Progress” to see courses you have started, then click the “Access Course” button below the title of a course whose content you have finished. Click “Claim Survey,” then fill out the course survey. Click “Start Survey” at the bottom of the screen, add comments on the following screen, then click “Finish Survey.” Click “Click Here to Continue,” then “Download Certificate.” Once certificates have been claimed, you can download them from your account by clicking “My Certificates” under the “My Account” drop-down in the top right, or by clicking the “View Certificates” button on the “My Courses” page.

  • Can I print a single certificate that will include credits for all the courses I have completed?

While each course is its own accredited activity, and due to the rules of accreditation, each activity must have its own certificate, you can print a transcript of your claimed activity by hovering over the “My Account” button in the top right, then clicking the “My Transcript” button.

  • How long does my course access last?

You have access to your courses for 365 days after activation.

  • How do I purchase for members of my staff, group, or organization?

Please contact support for bulk pricing.

  • How does the subscription model work?

With our annual subscription model, your purchase gives you access to all current content on CardioVillage. In addition, you will be able to access any new content added during the twelve months of your subscription period. You can earn credit by completing as much of the available content as you wish; you do not need to pay any additional fees to claim credits for courses you complete.

  • Is my credit card charged automatically when my subscription ends?

No. Once your subscription ends, you can resubscribe by logging in and accessing the Subscriptions area of your My Order History page.

  • How do I share my thoughts about the site?

Through our required evaluation form, we encourage feedback from learners. You can also contact support@scitent.com

  • How do I find content on CardioVillage?

If you have not yet made a purchase, you can go to the Course Catalog and click the “Single Courses” square to view a list of all courses. You can search for courses by name or by using the Product Categories filters. Once you have completed a purchase, click the “My Courses” tab to access your course content.

  • I finished a course but it isn’t marked as complete. Why?

Be sure you have scrolled through the full course content, including the References section if available. Your course content will not be marked as complete until you have scrolled through to the bottom of the screen and viewed all content. Once you have viewed all course content, you will also need to claim your certificate for the course itself to be marked as fully complete. Information on how to claim your certificate can also be found on this FAQ page.

Credits are earned by completing a course and claiming the appropriate certificate. Information on how to claim your credit certificate can be found on this FAQ page.

  • Does CardioVillage submit CEs for me?

In general, no. It is the participant’s responsibility to submit certificates and transcriptions to the governing accrediting agency. However, CardioVillage does submit participant completion information quarterly to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABA, ABIM, and ABP MOC credit (learners must have complete board name and number, legal name as registered with the board, and birthdate listed in their profile to have MOC Points reported on their behalf).

  • How can I be sure my MOC credits are submitted?

When you complete a course and claim your certificate of completion, be sure to select “AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM Physician and MOC Points” from the drop-down asking what type of credit you are claiming.
